Sigma Phi Epsilon welcomes its Fall 2025 Bid Class! Gaining 9 new brothers, this bid class is sure to make its mark. We welcome Arman Basu, Azhar Pathan, Christian Lencsak, Christian Sciulla, Jack Guastella, Kieran Seidita, Mark Leszynski, Michael Lamaze, and Noah Wachtel to our brotherhood. We’re excited to see what they all have in store for this fraternity!
On July 24 2025, New Jersey Alpha officially won its 5th consecutive Gold Buchanan Cup, marking 18 years of continued excellence. NJA brothers and alumni made the trip to Tampa, Florida, to attend the 59th Annual Grand Chapter Conclave, hoping to win our 9th consecutive Buchanan Cup.
After two years of dedication and hard work, New Jersey Alpha happily rests our Buchanan Cup, along with the rest, in its rightful place in our chapter house. NJA is proud of our accomplishments, and will strive to earn our next Gold in Phoenix, at the 60th Grand Chapter Conclave.
Our brothers and alumni also had a great time both inside and out of the larger Conclave programming. Brothers partook in Conclave seminars based on topics such as, financial literacy, networking, and leadership, just to name a few. "These seminars were a great way to bring back a wealth of knowledge to our chapter"- said brother and Chaplain, Michael Preziosi. Outside of these programs, brothers also enjoyed their time in Tampa with each other by spending quality time going out to eat and relaxing.
SigEp places 2nd in Castle Point King! Hosted by Delta Phi Epsilon, CPK 2025 wasn't just about crowns and choreography. The event also celebrated the graduating sisters of DPhiE and raised funds for two important causes: the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD) and the Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation. ANAD continues its mission to support those affected by eating disorders and promote prevention, education, and research.
If you're new to the hype: Castle Point King is Stevens’ own twist on a male beauty pageant — where contestants represent their fraternities and compete through themed performances, costumes, and creative video intros. With the title of Castle Point King on the line, it’s a night filled with fierce fun, campus unity, and a whole lot of pizzazz.
This year's theme was Pop-Divas, and SigEp hit the stage with Aaron Sprigle as Britney Spears, complete with iconic moves and major attitude. By the end of the night, we officially placed second in a close contest!
Sigma Phi Epsilon wins Alpha Phi Sorority philanthropy event Mr. HeartThrob! SigEp HeartThrob nominee Jake Paccione stole the show with his skit performance, enacting a typical love story showing off his acting and musical talent and finding a way to everyone's hearts. Overall, SigEp raised over $1100 for women's heart health awareness!
